Aerial Perspective

As both a professional photographer and a licensed pilot, Robert Drapala has spent the last twenty years amassing an unparalleled collection of aerial and ground photographs, and his portfolio has grown into one of the finest examples of lighthouse and seascape photography available today. His first book, Gilded Glory, was released in 1995, and he currently has several books in publications with other projects currently in the works, all of which showcase his talent for capturing his subjects in their most natural states.

Robert Drapala is the publisher of Portrait of the Past, as well as two other books: Portrait of the Outer Banks, published in 2000, and Gilded Glory, published in 1997. Robert is a well-known photographer whose work demonstrates his unparalleled talent in capturing his subjects in their most candid environments. He will be publishing two additional books, showcasing the beauty of Key West in the first and Ireland in the second, within the next two years. Robert lives with his wife Christy in Mount Holly, New Jersey.
