Our publishing company specializes in publishing custom pictorial (coffee table) books using only freelance writers and designers. Not only do we publish our own books, we also provide completely customized packaging of books and photography according to the express direction of our customers.

Gilded Glory was Aerial Perspective’s first book published, and 5,000 copies have been sold to date.

Since then, I have published five books, beginning with Portrait of the Outer Banks: A Pictorial Tour. It includes photos from the Outer Banks of North Carolina with photos of seascapes, old fishing boats, sunsets and aerial photography. Portrait of the Outer Banks is in its second edition and has sold close to 10,000 copies to date.

We typically print 3,000 to 5,000 books for the first release. This number gives our company the best price per book and best wholesale price for the market, though we will consider any quantity based upon customer needs.

Once a project begins, our payment schedule requires 1/3 to start, 1/3 at the final edit proof (also known as blue lines) and 1/3 when books are ready for shipping. We also supply cover jackets per 10% of the order at no cost to our customers (5,000 books x 10% = 500 cover jackets), as we have found that the jackets are sometimes damaged during customer handling.

During the release of the book, Aerial Perspective will provide book signings with the writer and photographer, as well as gallery showings of the art and photography. Aerial Perspetive can also provide cover design with our photography and design services, thus providing customers with a cover that will pop out for that extra edge in the book market.
